Artists of all abilities are welcome to join our sketching class! 

While working from seasonal still lives, students will put new and reinforced skills to use!  Learn about media, mark making, values, perspective and more! Students are welcome to bring their own pencils, erasers & sketchpads.

A recommended materials list may be provided for guidance. Students may also opt to use instructor provided materials for $25 payable at the first class.

Fine Arts Portraitist and author, ShawnaLee W. Kwashnak, creates exquisite lifelike works that blend impressionism with realism. Her studio offers drawings or paintings of pets, children, or landscapes. ShawnaLee serves as an elected board member for the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists, member of the Richter Association for the Arts, Arts & Culture Collaborative Waterbury Region etc. Her work has supported DAWS since 2011 and is collected internationally.
