Doodlebugs
Do you have a creative kiddo on your hands?
Doodlebugs is the program for them! Children in grades K-3 will have the chance to create a range of different works using various materials. Watercolor painting, collages out of recycled goods, pastel drawings, beginner print making and so much more. Whether your child has never picked up a paintbrush… or can’t seem to put one down, this class is designed for all skill levels.

Project line up for Fall 2026
- 10/1 - Pattern Apples - Young artists will explore patterns and symmetry using tempura sticks to make a rainbow apple!
- 10/8 - Tissue Paper Jars - An autumn keepsake made from warm colored tissue paper, Modge Podge, and plastic jars to create a cozy tea light holder!
- 10/15 - Mixed Media Pumpkins - Artists will create a pumpkin patch scene using materials like cardboard, paint sticks, ribbon, and stickers!
- 10/22 - Retro Black Cat - Doodlers will be introduced to retro styles of Halloween decor and oil pastels to make a smiling black cat face!
- 11/12 - Whatever Happened to the Dinosaurs? - Based on the book “Whatever Happened to the Dinosaurs?”, Doodlers will use scraps of construction paper on black and white backgrounds to create what silly scenarios they think happened to the dinosaurs!
- 11/19- Macy’s Parade Scene - In celebration of the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, young artists will use scrap paper, string, and markers to make their own big city parade scene!
