CLES After School - Grades 1-3
Scratch Learning – Introduction to Coding

Introduce your child to the exciting world of coding with Scratch, a beginner-friendly visual programming platform designed for young learners. In this hands-on class, students will create interactive stories, animations, and simple games while learning the foundations of computational thinking.

Participants will explore key coding concepts such as sequencing, loops, and events while building problem-solving skills and expressing their creativity through digital storytelling and game design. Throughout the program, students will progress from learning the basics of Scratch to designing their own game, culminating in a final project showcase to share their creations.

Paint Without Brush – Creative Art Lab
In this imaginative art program, students will explore painting and design using fun and unconventional tools such as sponges, leaves, cotton swabs, forks, bubbles, and other everyday materials.

Each week introduces a new technique that encourages experimentation while helping children develop fine motor skills, pattern-making, and creative expression. Participants will create unique artwork individually and collaborate with classmates, building confidence in sharing and presenting their creations.

WMS After School - Grades 6-8
Python Coding Lab

Designed with a hands-on approach, the course focuses on practical coding activities and fun projects rather than heavy theory. Students will learn to write simple programs, use variables, loops, and conditions, and create interactive mini-games like Rock-Paper-Scissors or a quiz game.

By the end of the course, students will gain confidence in problem-solving, logical thinking, and using Python as a creative tool to bring their ideas to life.

NextGen Coders: AI & Game Development
In this exciting program, students will explore the basics of artificial intelligence and game design using beginner-friendly tools such as Teachable Machine. Participants will learn how AI recognizes patterns, experiment with image recognition, and apply these concepts to design their own interactive mini-games.

Along the way, students will build problem-solving skills, creativity, and an understanding of how modern technology works. The program concludes with a student showcase where participants present the AI-powered games they created.
