Prorate and Refund Policy

1. The minimum number of registrations will be set at a “break even” point and the maximum number of registrations will be based on a profit margin of 20-30%
2. Non-residents may register two weeks prior to the start of a program – provided that space is available after all residents have been accommodated. A surcharge for programs may be charged to non-residents. This surcharge may be waived at the discretion of the Parks & Recreation Director.
3. Parks & Recreation reserves the right to cancel any program due to lack of participation. Two weeks prior to the start date for each program, participation will be evaluated. If enrollment is not sufficient at this time, all registrants will be notified that the program will be canceled if enrollment does not improve. One week prior to the start date for each program, a decision will be made to cancel or run the program.
4. Refunds will not be given once a program has begun unless a wait list exists, a substitute can be found or there is a medical emergency. Refunds are at the discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department.
5. Parents will be charged $5.00 for every ten minutes that they are late picking up their children for a Parks & Recreation program. This fee will be collected by the instructor/supervisor.
