This 8-class course introduces students in grades 6-8 to the exciting world of computer programming using Python - one of the most popular coding languages!
Designed with a hands-on approach, the course focuses on practical coding activities and fun projects rather than heavy theory. Students will learn to write simple programs, use variables, loops, and conditions, and create interactive mini-games like Rock-Paper-Scissors or a quiz game. By the end of the course, students will gain confidence in problem-solving, logical thinking, and using Python as a creative tool to bring their ideas to life.
No prior experience needed - just curiosity, imagination, and chromebooks!
