A ski club meeting for parents and chaperones will be held on 12/17 at 6:00pm. The meeting will take place at Brookfield Town Hall in room 133.

4 fun-filled Friday nights at Mohawk in Cornwall, CT.  

DAY: Friday                   TIMES: Dismissal—9:15pm

DATES: 1/10/25, 1/24/25, 1/31/25, 2/7/25 (makeup: 2/21/25, 2/28/25)

TRANSPORTATION: Land Jet Buses

Total Fees: $320 + Optional Lessons & Rentals.

Two step registration process:

Step 1: Register with Parks & Recreation - Fee: $172.00
Registration with Parks & Recreation includes coach bus transportation and supervision on the bus and mountain.

Step 2: Purchase you lift tickets through Mohawk - Fee: $148.00 Further detail and instructions will be updated in Oct. 2024.

Optional: Lessons (sold as 3 or 4 packs this season) and rentals.  Read about seasonal rental info below.

Additional Important Information: 
¨ Once payment has been made, no refunds can be given for any portion of the program, including to students who might miss an evening due to illness or other circumstances. 
¨ We highly recommend that participants wear helmets. 
¨ Beginners must register for lessons every trip.

Volunteers Needed!  We are in need of parent volunteers for chaperones! All chaperones will receive a free lift ticket to use on the night(s) they volunteer.  Don’t ski? No problem! Having chaperones in the lodge is needed. We will ask for volunteers to chaperone between 1 and 4 weeks, depending on the number of volunteers. We have scheduled a pre-season meeting with all chaperones on Tuesday, December 17th, 6:00—6:45 p.m. in Room 133 of Town Hall. If you are planning on chaperoning, please make every effort to attend. 

Seasonal Equipment Rentals: If you need to rent equipment, we recommend you consider seasonal rentals as opposed to renting each trip from Mohawk.  Seasonal rentals are similar in cost and your child will have the same equipment throughout the winter. And, if they ski outside of ski club, you will not have rent again. The kind folks at Ski Haus, 162 Danbury Rd, New Milford have fitted many of our participants with equipment over the years.  Stop in to Ski Haus, visit their website at www.skihausonline.com or call them at (860) 355-2001 for more information. Please note that many students (depending on shoe size, height, and weight) will be charged at the adult rates. Rentals sell out fast!
