ACRYLIC CREATIONS: Winter's Songbirds
Acrylics, a versatile medium, can turn a variety of surfaces into works of art.
In this 4-session, step-by-step program, participants will learn to paint a male & female cardinal perched on a tree branch. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome as participants will be encouraged to work at their level. Color mixing, blending and texture techniques will be covered, as well as the basics of working with acrylic paint.ACRYLIC CREATIONS: Red Poppy Flower
This step-by-step class is designed for those with previous acrylic painting experience, it is not a beginner program. Participants will create a beautiful poppy flower on an 11X14 canvas. Color mixing, blending and texture techniques will be covered.
ACRYLIC CREATIONS: Coastal Lighthouse
This step-by-step class is designed for both beginners and those with some painting experience. Participants will create a pretty lighthouse coastal scene on an 8x10 canvas. Color mixing, blending, and texture techniques will be covered as well as the basics of working with acrylic paint. Participants will be encouraged to work at their own ability level.
All materials including brushes, paints, surfaces, etc. will be provided for an $10.00 fee payable to the instructor at class.
Participants are encouraged to purchase a 12x16" Masterson Sta-Wet Palette available at Michaels, Michaels.com, or Amazon in order to preserve paint mixes from week-to-week, or bring a sealable plastic container of similar dimensions to class.
