ACRYLIC CREATIONS: Winter's Songbirds
Acrylics, a versatile medium, can turn a variety of surfaces into works of art.
In this 4-session, step-by-step program, participants will learn to paint a male & female cardinal perched on a tree branch. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome as participants will be encouraged to work at their level. Color mixing, blending and texture techniques will be covered, as well as the basics of working with acrylic paint.
All materials including brushes, paints, surfaces, etc. will be provided for an $10.00 fee payable to the instructor at class.
Participants are encouraged to purchase a 12x16" Masterson Sta-Wet Palette available at Michaels, Michaels.com, or Amazon in order to preserve paint mixes from week-to-week, or bring a sealable plastic container of similar dimensions to class.
